Refund policy:

NHC recognizes that sometimes people may sign up for a class without fully understanding what will be expected of them. The state of California requires a 7 day refund policy. We take that one step further. NHC has a no questions asked 30 day refund policy.
The student has the right to cancel the agreement and receive a full refund before the first lesson and materials are received. Cancellation is effective on the date the written notice of cancellation is sent to:

If the institution sent the first lesson and materials before an effective cancellation notice was received, the institution shall make
a refund on materials within 45 days after the student’s return of the materials in new condition.

You may withdraw from the school at any time and receive a pro rata refund if you have completed 60 percent or less of the scheduled days in the current payment period in your program through the last day of attendance. The refund will be less a registration or administration fee not to exceed $250.00, and less any deduction for books and materials not returned in new condition as stated as refundable on the enrollment agreement. A refund will be made within 45 days of withdrawal.

The Natural Healing College has a strict non-discrimination policy that is carefully followed and seriously enforced. All students applying for Natural Healing College course will be reviewed equally and fairly without any regard to gender identity, race, color, age, religion, national origin, sexual orientation or disability. NHC is an equal opportunity institution and follows all federal standards regarding equal opportunity.

Privacy Policy
The Natural Healing College views its privacy policy very seriously and understands each and every student’s rights. Natural Healing College will not distribute any information to any vendors under any circumstances. It is duly noted that NHC respects any and all information collected and maintains the right to refuse information without the students written and signed consent.

Enrollment
You must be at least 18 years old for any of our programs. NHC requires all students to submit a copy of their high school diploma or GED. Natural Healing College is an online distance learning school, therefore all students are required to have some basic computer knowledge such as typing, using web and email.

There is a $50.00 non-refundable enrollment application fee.

Disclaimer
Students receive a diploma upon graduation from Master Herbalist, Nutritional Consultant, Holistic Health Practitioner or Ayurvedic Health Practitioner programs, and a certificate of completion from our Introduction to Holistic Sciences program. A diploma or certificate from NHC credits our graduates with the highest professional standard. We teach our graduates skills to consult and teach health, and nutrition information with great competence. A graduate of NHC should not be confused as a licensed medical doctor.

NHC Students are considered practitioners by NHC. You cannot diagnose, prescribe, treat symptoms, defect, injury, or disease pursuant to California Business and Professional Code 2052. You can do health counseling or therapies as a health practitioner or therapist.
Our use of the word “clinical” refers to working in a clinical environment and does not imply being a licensed doctor or practicing medicine.

Students are responsible for determining the legal issues involved in conducting a holistic health or holistic nutrition practice in their state or locality. We recommend you contact your state or local government for legal interpretations as the laws differ from place to place.
